When people barter, they tend to bloat their prices, so they can receive more. Years ago a printer wanted to trade with me. Their proposition was that they would give me a run of business cards and I would write them a sales letter.
It's pretty easy to tell a client that you will help them save money and avoid disasters by being proactive. It's also pretty easy to tell them they can focus on their core business while you take care of "IT". And it's really easy to tell them that "managed I.T support Sale lake city" is far superior to "break/fix". Generally, these are all true!
After a thorough examination when it becomes tech support I.T clear that you want to move on a new idea move to the next step which is to take small measurable actions tracking their success.
Push back to buyers and tell them that you can accept their proposition but all you can offer to them in return is "exposure to value" not the value itself. It's Managed I.T support uttah like a restaurant. If you can pay, you get food. If you can't pay, you can get the smell of food. Simple really.
The problem is that far too many business owners call in external help too late. Just imagine. What is the point in hiring the best ship consultants to save your sinking ship after she hit an iceberg and is already 9/10 under water?
I formatted the drive, wiping everything off of it, went to the "backup" utility that appears when the C-Drive Icon is right clicked, and hit ENTER. The entire C-Drive copied itself on my external drive just as if it were a memory stick. It took 5 mins to set up, and was there the whole time. DUH.
